It’s that time of the year when the much-anticipated annual Helderberg Hospice Open Gardens Festival returns: the trees are wrapped in pink, and the pink floral Hyundai Staria is out and about.
Garden lovers and supporters alike have a spectacular opportunity to explore the hidden treasures of 15 unique gardens across the Helderberg.
Taking place from Friday October 25 to Sunday October 27, it promises to be a weekend filled with beauty, inspiration, and a sense of community spirit – all in support of the care which Helderberg Hospice provides in the community.
Talented gardeners have generously opened their private gardens to the public, and visitors have a special treat this year from some supporting businesses who are also participating in the Open Gardens Festival.
Many of the gardens will also feature additional attractions, including tea, refreshments and plant sales.
Make time to tour the Helderberg Hospice Garden of Remembrance which is celebrating its 8th birthday by giving its visitors a gift.
The garden is tended year-round by a group of dedicated volunteers whose gift of time and love keep it looking beautiful.
