At least R10 000 in prize money is available this year for participants in the e’Bosch Talent Festival 2025, in addition to payments that finalists will receive for performing at the Heritage Day Gala Event, taking place on Wednesday September 24.

Categories Include: music (contemporary, gospel, jazz, hip-hop), poetry and storytelling, stand-up comedy, and original creations.

Project manager Anthony Penderis emphasises that beyond showcasing talent, the festival is about empowerment - helping emerging artists carve a path to success.

Finalists won’t just perform - they’ll grow, attending exclusive workshops led by renowned music director Marthie Hauptfleisch, which cover stage etiquette, industry insights, and career-building strategies.

The entry deadline is Saturday June 14,  and entering is simple: contestants submit a three-minute demo video (max 50MB, portrait format), which a panel of judges will review.

Those advancing to Round Two will be invited to live auditions at the Drostdy Theatre, Stellenbosch on Saturday June 21, where top finalists will be chosen to perform at the grand Heritage Day Gala Event on Wednesday September 24.

Finalists will be paid for their performances and have the chance to win cash prizes.

Entry forms are available via the QR code on e’Bosch’s TikTok (@eboschtalent), Instagram (@ebosch_heritage_project), and Facebook (/eBoschHeritageProject).

This year’s Festival of Talents 2025 is sponsored by the National Lotteries Commission, Wesgro, and DCAS (Western Cape). For more details, contact talent@ebosch.co.za
