Cast on 4 Kids It's not long to go before Masikhule’s "Cast On 4 Kids" annual event takes place, so it's time to start knitting and collecting. This year they are celebrating Mandela Day by collecting beanies (for 2 to 6 year olds), knitted and fleece blankets as well as books for pre-schoolers (can be second-hand as long as they have been gently loved). Join the team at Urban Voice between 11am and 2pm on Mandela Day to knit and crochet or drop off your warm goodies. You are welcome to drop donations off, if you can't attend the event, at their office (between 9am and 3pm), at 9A Elwil Building, Caledon Road, Somerset West.
