A Stellenbosch charity, Huis Horison, will have two festive days filled with fun, food, and entertainment for its annual summer fair known as "Fête" on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1.

This charity offers holistic care for people with a primary intellectual disability, and currently houses and cares for 134 people in its centre.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed day from noon until 4pm on the first day of the fête. They can support the following product stalls: Huis Horison’s woodwork, needlework, Christmas decorations, second-hand clothing items, and second-hand books, all in support of the beneficiaries of the charity.

On the second day, the traditional fête comes alive with a wide variety of attractions for all ages. The day will start with the morning Horison Challenge Trail Run at 7am.

At 9am, the rest of the fête opens, including the Potjiekos Competition, traditional food stalls, live music, beer on tap, wine, fun activities for the children, and a variety of unique products created in the Huis Horison areas, as well as second-hand books, a thrift clothing store, and bric-a-brac items.
