Don Vino in Saxy Vibes 4.0

Staff Reporter|Published 2 years ago

Don Vino Prins, aka Don Vino, is celebrating over 20 years in the music industry.

Saxophonist Don Vino along with other award-winning South African artists will be performing Saxy Vibes 4.0 on Saturday August 27 at the Good Hope Christian Centre in Ottery, at 7pm.

He will be joined on stage by Jimmy Nevis, Loyiso Bala, Ernie Smith, Alistair Izobell, Loren Erasmus and Hunter Rose.

Don Vino's first instrument was the banjo. He switched to the trumpet before he moved to his true love, the saxophone at the age of 15. “My shows are always energetic, vibrant and suave, so the fans can expect a lot of dancing, sing-along-songs, and beautiful ballads because I am after all Mr SaxyVibes.”

A percentage of proceeds will go to St Anne's Homes, a shelter for destitute women and children, and to NPO Siyazana Youth Development Fund.

Tickets cost from R250 to R300 each. Book through Quicket.
