Old school party at West End

Staff Reporter|Published 1 year ago

The Xpendables High Schools Reunion will take place at West End in Rylands on Saturday June 3. The Xpendables is a gathering of legendary club DJs from the northern to southern suburbs who helped shape the clubbing landscape in the 80s and 90s, representing some of the top local clubs from those eras. The event is produced by Calvin Peters, better known as DJ Uncle Cal. The line-up consists of Fast Eddie (Club Vibe), pictured, DJ Natano (Club Fame), Superfly (Le Club) and DJ Newton (Club Company). Also making a special appearance on the night is Vuvu Kumalo, performing a few classic disco hits and reintroducing her original dance track, Without You, which was written and produced by Uncle Cal during lockdown. Early bird tickets for the event are R120 and will cost R140 at the door. Book through Webtickets or Pick n Pay stores. Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 9pm.
