Winnie winter fun

Carolyn Frost|Published

The Playhouse in Somerset West was a hive of activity over the school holidays, with the children buzzing about excitedly before and after Winnie-the-Pooh at multiple sold-out performances. The little ones could do drawings ahead of curtain up, which were then handed in for the judges to select the best ones, and after the show they could meet all the cast members. Bolander stopped by to capture some of the fun... Pictured, from left, are Emma van Deventer, 9, Caroline Vala (visiting from France), Anne Hawtrey, and Claudi van Deventer, and in front, holding Pooh Bear, is Ruby Rose Hawtrey, 6.
