The legendary guitar maestro, Mel Botes, is set to perform his popular Dominoes (Stripped down) show, featuring the best of Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and Mel Botes - a combination of the three theatre productions in one, at The Drama Factory, on Saturday March 22, at 7.30pm.
For the past 20 years Mel Botes has entertained audiences all over the country with his critically acclaimed musical performance, Crazy Diamond - A Tribute to Pink Floyd.
In 2012 and 2013 he presented Sultans of Swing - A Tribute to Dire Straits and Dark Side of the Moon – chapter 2 in his series of Pink Floyd tribute shows.
As a guitarist, Mel's mastery of various styles, from rock to jazz, folk, and blues, has earned him widespread acclaim. His playing is characterised by precision, passion, and a deep understanding of the instrument, and as a producer, Mel has worked with numerous high-profile artists, helping shape their sound and bringing out the best in their performances.
