The TEARS Sleepathon 2021 is taking place this month.
TEARS Animal Rescue will be hosting their annual flagship fundraising event, the TEARS Sleepathon 2021, on Saturdays November 13, 20 and 27 at their kennels and cattery in Sunnydale.
Animal lovers of all ages can dedicate one night to cuddling a rescue pet and helping to raise funds for the non-profit animal welfare organisation.
Tickets cost R230 a person and donations to the TEARS Sleepathon will help to fund the TEARS Mobile Clinic and TEARS Veterinary Hospital that provides vital healthcare, including free vaccinations and sterilisations, for pets from low-income communities.
Tickets can be bought via the TEARS Online Shop, with 100 tickets available per event. Participants are encouraged to sign up as individuals, corporate teams, or as a family or group of friends.
“Snoozers” will be required to check-in at the shelter at 6pm and the sleepathon will be officially over at 7am the next morning.
