To celebrate the end-of-year school exams, a brand-new event for young people under the age of 18 years old, Under8ed, will be launched in The Baxter foyer and garden on Friday December 6, at 5pm.
Top local DJs will be on stage and there will be an outdoor dance floor, colourful lighting and matching decor. This specially created event aims to give a trendy, club-like vibe – without alcohol – where the youth can gather with their friends from various schools to celebrate the end of their final exams.
Headlined by the multi-Platinum-selling South African songwriter, producer, DJ and singer, Timo ODV, the line-up includes Sir Bongz, Chris Taylor, Amelia Rose and Hartley.
This first-of-its-kind event at The Baxter, will be supervised by staff, with security and medical teams on site to ensure everyone’s safety, while keeping the energy upbeat.
There will also be a variety of food stalls.
Tickets for Under8ed cost from R120 to R500 through Webtickets or at Pick n Pay stores.
