An appeal has been put out by the Somerset West Neighbourhood Watch (SWNW) for assistance in their efforts to support frontline and healthcare workers, who have worked month after month since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
SWNW are having a “Snack Support” drive to give them a much-needed energy boost.
You can place energy bars, granola bars and/or chocolate bars into their collection boxes at the various drop-off points, and feel free to also attach a note of appreciation, encouragement or inspiration to help boost their morale.
Drop-off points can be located at Shell Select (Land and Zeezicht); Heldervue Spar; Lion’s Square Spar (Main Road, Somerset West); Disa BP (Lord Charles Hotel); Vergelegen Plein Spar; and Station Bargain Warehouse (corner of Dirkie Uys and Burg streets).
SWNW sends its appreciation to the centres who are assisting with the various support projects and the amazing people who are managing them.
