Golf Day hosted by Parel Vallei High School

The Parel Vallei and KWIKSPAR Somerset Lion’s Square Golf Day was hosted on Friday November 4 at the Somerset West Golf Club. KWIKSPAR Somerset Lion’s Square was the main event sponsor for a 7th time and golfers were once again spoiled with goodie bags filled to brim. Pictured, above is the winning team from left, are Magda Stapelberg from KWIKSPAR Somerset Lion’s Square, Xander de Wet, Ankia de Wet, Francois Mynhardt and Stefan Coetzee.

Second place winners from left, are Matthew Beadsworth, Darryn Charmers, Magda Stapelberg from KWIKSPAR Somerset Lion’s Square, Clive Battison and Nick van der Westhuizen. There was a special touch of KWIKSPAR right throughout the golf day, including the exciting “Trolley Dash” as part of the auction and sponsoring the prizes for the top 3 teams.

In third place winners from left, with Magda Stapelberg from KWIKSPAR, are Deon van Rensburg, Andrew Viljoen, Benna Theron and Wernher Bock. Paul Fourie was absent. Other winners included the “The Best Dressed 4-ball” won by the team from Morkel and de Villiers while “Nearest to the pin” was won by Hein Lubbe, hole no. 7; Jennifer Cloete, hole no.9; Bert McAughtrie, hole no. 11; and Johnny Bosch, hole no.15. Daniel Hindley had the “The Longest Drive” on hole no. 4.
