Audiences are invited to step inside A Summer Night’s Dream at the Spier wine farm. The production is set to start off at Spier Werf but will end in a mythical world.
This December Spier wine farm presents A Summer Night’s Dream, produced in association with Third World Bunfight.
This outdoor performance promises to spark the imagination of the whole family. It’s an eclectic mix of music, dance and theatre that will ignite the landscape with colour and sound.
Audiences are invited to join in on the fun as 30 local musicians, singers, dancers, acrobats and actors tell the story of a mythical musician with the power to heal.
Event creator Brett Bailey says: “A Summer Night’s Dream celebrates a deeper value system where the greatest gifts are often those that money cannot buy.”
Enjoy the festive season this year by stepping into an enchanted world of music, dance and theatre that celebrates the connection between people and humanity’s creative imagination.
The play will be performed on Friday December 16 and Saturday December 17 at the Spier Werf, on the Spier wine farm located along the R310, Stellenbosch. The show starts at 19.30 but guests are invited to enjoy a meal on the Spier Werf from 6pm.
Tickets are available from Webtickets and cost R200 per person and children under 12 pay R50. Visit www.spier.co.za or www.thirdworldbunfight.co.za for more information.
