International Literacy Day celebrates with great amusement

International Literacy Day celebrated on Friday September 8 was commemorated by staff of the Strand Library with a lively, amusing storytelling session for pupils of Hendrik Louw Primary, situated opposite the library. Joined by their beloved and highly entertaining mascot, LiBee, the day turned out to be great fun for those in attendance. Here Gordon van der Spuy, entertains the grade 1 to 3 pupils with his animated storytelling.
