Children from Wellington, forming part of the programmes hosted by the Angels of Hope non-profit organisation, recently attended an educational talk presented by CapeNature on the importance of recycling. The session, held on Tuesday, July 1, at Van Wyksvlei Library, was led by CapeNature official Michael Lewis. According to Angels of Hope founder Karel Dampies, the talk focused on the three R’s — reduce, reuse and recycle — and aimed to teach the children how to care for their environment. Pictured are the children who attended the session, along with Angels of Hope member Adam Ephraim and founder Karel Dampies in the middle row, and Mr Lewis on the far right.
