The Drama Factory in Strand will host a comedic murder mystery production, Who Done Did It?, later this August.
Set within a touring South African theatre troupe, the fast-paced play sees onstage drama spill behind the scenes when an actress is found dead, murdered with a high heel. Eccentric Detective Eugene Oppenheimer and his determined sidekick, Constable Jane Jones, are called in to solve the case. Every member of the cast becomes a suspect.
The show features a range of quirky characters, from a melodramatic leading lady to a disgruntled stagehand, each with something to hide. Audiences can expect a mix of sharp humour, twists, and theatrical antics.
Directed by Emma Amber (The Marvelous Wonderettes, Trial and Error), written by Michaela Richards (Dating, Mating and Relating for Dummies, Romeo and Juliet – Sort Of), and produced by Origen Productions, Who Done Did It? invites the audience to take part in the mystery.
