Friends of Strand library to host book sale

Friends of Strand library will hold its monthly book sale on Friday, October 31, from 10am to 4pm, and Saturday, November 1, from 9am until noon in the library hall. Afrikaans and English fiction, children’s books, and a vast selection of non-fiction (esoteric, dictionaries, cookery, crafts, art, gardening, biographies, travel, and business) are up for grabs. Africana and rare publications, CDs, DVDs, heavy-duty black bags, costume jewelry, and handmade greeting cards will also be on sale. Donations are welcome, and electronic payment is available.
