Western Cape police have launched a manhunt following the fatal shooting of three men at a shopping centre in Gordon’s Bay on Tuesday night, January 27.
The victims, aged between 40 and 45, were in the parking area of Gordon’s Bay Mall at about 9.30pm when unknown gunmen approached them in a vehicle and opened fire, said police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa.
"Two victims died inside the vehicle and another outside the car. The suspects later fled in their vehicle," she added.
A triple murder case has been registered for investigation at the Gordon’s Bay police station.
Brigadier Potelwa said the incident is believed to be gang-related.
No arrests have been made at this stage. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to contact the police on 08600 10111.
