Last year ended on a high note for the team of CoffeeMM in Stellenbosch, who hosted their first-ever Barista Battle in December. The five contenders competed for the winning title in categories including Best Latte Art, Coffee Connoisseur 2023, and overall CoffeeMM Best Barista 2023. In the end it was Rodney Christopher Swartz, pictured above, who took home the winning title as the winner in all three categories. Rodney won a fully sponsored coffee roasting course to the value of R10 000 at CoffeeMM Academy.
