Bonsai artist Terry Erasmus, will be the speaker at the next Hottentots Holland Garden Club meeting.
The Hottentots Holland Garden Club will meet on Wednesday May 8, at 9.30am for 10am, at the Hottentots Holland Dutch Reformed Church off Gordon Road.
The speaker will be renowned, professional bonsai artist, Terry Erasmus, who will deliver his talk entitled, Introduction to Bonsai.
Terry was born and raised in Somerset West and has practised bonsai for most of his life.
In 2011 he started studying under third generation bonsai professional, Junichiro Tanaka at AichiEn nursery in Nagoya, Japan.
Terry visits Japan annually to improve his skills and knowledge under the guidance of highly respected masters.
Visitors pay R20 for entry, members enter free with membership costing R100 per year.
