Helderberg Hospice held a concert recently to benefit their special care. Pictured, from left, are Dr Bruce Copley, hang drum and didgeridoo; Dorian Haarhoff , poetry; Rene Osbourne, vocals; Barbara Kennedy, keyboard and cello (holding her 217-year-old cello); and Chris Shear, French horn. The concert was also a tribute to Maureen Shear, Chris’s mom and Dorian’s partner.
The Bolander (formerly the Helderberg Sun) was established in 1996 and renamed Bolander in 2007. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Somerset Mall and Waterstone Mall within its distribution area.
