Clem Sunter, world renowned futurologist and scenario planner, has linked with Helderberg Sunrise Rotary Club to present Beyond 2021 – a Webinar to be screened live tomorrow, Thursday April 15, at 7pm.
In these uncertain times, what can we expect the future to look like and how can we plan for this? Clem will begin his presentation by explaining the history and application of Scenario Planning techniques and how these can be used to create a number of potential future environments.
He uses the analogies of “fox” and “hedgehog” to describe different behavioral responses to his projections.
What will be the’new rules of the game in the global environment? What are the key uncertainties and how can these be managed? A
fter painting the global picture, Clem will focus on South Africa and present some alternative scenarios, focusing on the economic cross roads we will be faced with.
Will South Africa take the high road or the low road and what will it mean to us? Can we create an entrepreneurial revolution in South Africa?
There will also be the opportunity for a question and answer session after the main presentation.
