Rugby star

■ Former Sharks player and British Lions rugby captain, Matt Stevens, left, recently addressed the Paarl Rotary Club on his interesting career, which includes finishing as first runner-up in the British TV talent competition X Factor: Battle of the Stars due to his singing talent. He now works as a hospitality manager for a well-known local wine estate. With him are Paarl Rotary president, Abie Martin and newly inducted Rotarian, Petrus Marais, right.
