Three Miss SA finalists in the Boland

■ Three of the Miss South Africa Top 12 finalists have ties to the Boland. Twenty-three-year-old Tamaryn Green, left, who lives in Paarl, is a final year medical student at the University of Cape Town. Akile Khoza, centre, also 23 years old, hails from Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge, in Mpumalanga and is a Master’s student in neuroscience at the University of Stellenbosch. Tamarin Bensch, right, is 25 years old. She lives in Somerset West, and works in property management and interior renovations.
