Trees planted in celebration of Arbor Week

Wellington NGO Angels of Hope celebrated Arbor Week 2022 with tree planting ceremonies within the community. Their first visit was to Newton Primary School where they assisted in planting the trees, made possible through a donation by CapeNature. The tree planting ceremony took place on the school grounds on Friday September 2. Angels of Hope members are here pictured with some of the pupils assisting in the tree planting initiative.

The little ones were not left out, as Angels of Hope members headed off to the Drakenstein Crèche and Pre-Primary School in Wellington where another tree planting ceremony was organised in honour of National Arbor Day. The NGO thanked Michael Lewis, from CapeNature for coordinating the tree donation.
