Reddam House pupils meet their hero

Some pupils from Reddam House, Somerset West got lucky last week when they got to meet their hero Faf du Plessis at the PPC Newlands Cricket Stadium. A mixture of Grade 3 and 4 cricketing enthusiasts were invited to be the KFC Kids of the Day for the T20 between South Africa and Pakistan. These pupils got to meet some of South Africa’s national cricket players, with the highlight being a chat and “toss of the coin” with Proteas Captain, Faf du Plessis. The 10 excited Reddam pupils got to stand proudly with their sporting heroes and sing the National Anthem and then had the honour of being the ball children for the match in front of a sell-out crowd.
